Integration Features

Order sync
Payment import
Refund handling
Product tracking

How It Works

FiscalInsights connects to your WooCommerce store via the REST API. Orders, refunds, and product data sync on a regular schedule. Payment gateway details (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) are captured with each order, and the integration works alongside your bank feed to reconcile deposits from your WooCommerce payment processors.

How to Connect WooCommerce

1Go to Settings > Integrations and select WooCommerce
2Enter your WordPress site URL with WooCommerce installed
3Generate API keys in WooCommerce (Settings > Advanced > REST API)
4Paste your Consumer Key and Secret into FiscalInsights
5Choose your sync preferences and start the initial data import

WooCommerce powers millions of WordPress-based stores, and its open-source flexibility means there are thousands of possible configurations for payments, shipping, and taxes. FiscalInsights connects to any WooCommerce store regardless of your specific setup, importing orders and financial data through WooCommerce's standard REST API.

The integration captures order details including products sold, quantities, pricing, coupons applied, shipping costs, and taxes. For stores using multiple payment gateways, each order records which gateway processed the payment so you can track processing costs by provider. Refunds and partial refunds are handled automatically, with inventory adjustments reflected in your COGS calculations.

Unlike hosted platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce doesn't manage your payouts — your payment processors deposit funds on their own schedules. FiscalInsights reconciles WooCommerce orders with bank deposits from Stripe, PayPal, and other gateways, solving one of the biggest pain points of WooCommerce accounting.
