Configure your late fee policy in settings: choose a flat fee, a percentage of the invoice amount, or a daily/monthly interest rate. Set a grace period (typically 5-15 days after the due date) before fees kick in. Specify a maximum late fee cap if desired. Once configured, FiscalInsights applies the policy automatically to every overdue invoice without any manual intervention.

Clear communication is key to maintaining client relationships when enforcing late fees. FiscalInsights includes the late fee terms on every invoice, sends a notification when a late fee is applied, and shows the original amount and late fee separately on the updated invoice.
