Every transaction can be tagged with one or more cost centers. A rent payment might be split across three office locations. A software subscription might be allocated to two departments based on usage. FiscalInsights handles these allocations flexibly—by fixed amount, percentage, or headcount—and produces reports showing spending by cost center alongside the overall company view.

The drill-down capability is where the real insight lives. Start at the company level, click into a department, then into a specific cost category within that department, and finally into the individual transactions.
