Step-by-Step Instructions
Request data export
Contact Bench support to request a complete data export. Ask for your chart of accounts, categorized transactions, financial statements, and any supporting documents. Bench will provide this in CSV and PDF format. Allow 3-5 business days for the export to be prepared.
Create account
While waiting for your Bench export, sign up at fiscalinsights.com. Start your free trial and explore the interface. Select "Migrating from Bench" during onboarding to activate the import wizard designed for Bench's data format.
Import data
Upload the Bench export files in the Migration Center. The importer maps Bench's categorized transactions to FiscalInsights categories, preserving the careful categorization work your Bench bookkeeper performed. Review the mapping to ensure accuracy.
Connect banks
